MyIndie Productions is an independent film production company based out of Melbourne, Australia. Our aim is to produce our own low budget indie films as well as collaborate with other indie filmmakers’ on their projects. We hope to create cinematic projects in Australia as well as worldwide.

We use the website, as well as our social media, to promote our own projects as well as other indie artists’ work. These artists can be from almost any independent artistic field. We will choose which to include and promote on the basis of quality, but will do our best to include as many independent artists as possible and watch them grow, along with us, into the indie community that we hope to become.

Itai Guberman
Founder & CEO
Itai is an Israeli-Australian independent filmmaker. He is a director, producer and scriptwriter. Itai was born in 1974 in Israel, then raised in Australia from the age of 14. In 2010, he returned to Israel and completed a Masters in Film & Cinema at Tel-Aviv University. He also holds a Bachelor Degree in Business from La Trobe University in Australia.

Itai has thus far written and directed several short films, including: Ivy (2017), Dolphin (2016), Third Temple (2014, co-writer/co-director with Asaf Angel) and The Collector (2007, co-written with Peter Angel and co-directed with Thanassi Arthur Panagiotaras). He has also written and directed the comedy web series The Bruised Spring’s Teens (2015).

Itai is the CEO and Founder of MyIndie Productions Pty Ltd., an independent film production company working out of Australia.

He has written numerous additional scripts, some of which are currently in development.

Ivy recently ended a very successful festival run, having screened all over the world, including USA, Canada, Ireland, Kosovo and the Philippines, to name a few, and won a number of awards, including several Best Film Awards and two Best Director Awards for Guberman.

Itai is currently working on his first feature film project,  Revelation, which was due to be completed in 2020, but has been postponed indefinitely due to Covid-related complications. The next release, written and directed by Itai, is scheduled to be The Bruised Spring’s Teens: The Movie, a feature film version of the previously released web series, due for release in late 2021.

Asaf Angel
Producer & Technical Department
Asaf Angel is an Israeli actor and filmmaker. He is known for Ivy [2017, Co-Producer], Dolphin (2016, Actor/Co-Writer), The Bruised Spring’s Teens (2015, DOP and Co-Producer), Third Temple [2014, Co-Director/Co-Writer/Co-Producer].

He is also a qualified Mechanical Engineer who served as an Ordinance Officer in the IDF for six years. Following his Army discharge, Asaf developed an interest in a filmmaking career and went to study Film and TV at Tel-Aviv University.

Peter Angel (R.I.P.)
Financial Consultant
Married with two children, Peter is a Certified Practising Accountant, and a member of the Association of Financial Advisers. Formerly a small business owner, and currently a CPA and a Tax Agent, Peter Angel brings a wealth of various practical experience to his financial advising role at MyIndie Productios.

Peter has served on various boards and is currently Treasurer on the YMCA Ballarat Board, a role which he really enjoys. Outside of work Peter enjoys traveling with his family, and sailing on the Gippsland Lakes and Victoria coast.

Peter sadly and unexpectedly passed away in March 2021.

Vladimir Finn
Strategic Consultant
Vladimir Finn is an organisational leader and strategist, committed to bringing innovative and transformational opportunities to reality. He is currently the CEO of HMR Referrals, a health tech disruptor. Prior to focusing on the Health Sector, Vladimir worked across a wide range of industry sectors providing mentoring, direction and strategic leadership to not-for-profits, engineering giants, global consultancies and the innovation incubator Mobile Republic.
