Asaf Angel

Filmmaker

Asaf Angel is an actor and filmmaker. He is known for Ivy (2017, Co-Producer), Dolphin (2016, Actor/Co-Writer), The Bruised Spring’s Teens (2015, DOP and Co-Producer), Third Temple (2014, Co-Director with Itai Guberman/Co-Writer/Co-Producer).

He is also a qualified Mechanical Engineer who served as an Ordinance Officer in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) for six years.

Following his Army discharge, Asaf developed an interest in a filmmaking career and went to study Film & TV at Tel-Aviv University.

He wrote and directed the short films Touch (2012), Unbreakable Anna (2011), Oh Ari (2011), The Tormented Artist [2010],  and acted (Oh Ari, 2011) in a number short films during his student years, before joining MyIndie Productions.

Asaf is currently co-producing the feature horror film Revelation, written, directed and co-produced by Itai Guberman.

When not in production, Asaf is responsible for MyIndie Production‘s Tech Department and was also the host of two full seasons of MyIndie Review Vlog, a weekly spoiler-free review show of Indie films, currently on indefinite hiatus.
