Re–released by Dread Central!
It was recently announced that Billy Pon‘s 2014 cult indie horror feature Circus Of The Dead, starring MyIndie featured artist, Bill Oberst Jr. as the hellacious Papa Corn, is to soon be re-released by Joshua Millican‘s Dread Central!
After being entangled in lengthy “distribution hell” due to a deal gone bad with now bankrupt aggregator, Distribber, the film did enjoy a limited run on DVD (now long out of print) and briefly some VOD platforms and became somewhat of a cult classic among indie horror fans, with much love shown to Oberst Jr., Pon and other cast and crew both online and at horror conventions.
Still, after the DVD run ended and the film was pulled from streaming platforms, it risked fading into obscurity without a securing a new distribution deal… Dread Central to the rescue! The re-release of Pon’s gory opus will start with a VOD launch on July 14th, with a Blu-ray release to follow, now already in pre-order!
