Gregory Blair

Filmmaker, Writer and Actor

Gregory Blair has been active in the arts for many years as an actor, writer, director and producer.

A Geoffrey Award winning actor, Gregory has graced the stage (Sylvia, Working, Six Degrees of Separation, etc.), the big screen (Ooga Booga, Garden Party Massacre, Fang, etc.), and the small screen (Escape the Night, Love That Girl!, Amazing Sports Stories, etc.).

As a writer, Gregory’s been represented on stage (Cold Lang Syne, The Last Banana and Nicholas Nickleby), and in prose offerings such as The Ritual, Little Shivers and Spewing Pulp. His film writing credits include the psychological thriller Deadly Revisions (with Bill Oberst, Jr.), the horror/comedy Garden Party Massacre and the story for The Convent a.k.a. Heretiks (with Scanners’ Michael Ironside and Hellraiser’s Claire Higgins).

Deadly Revisions and Garden Party Massacre both are the result of Gregory’s directing and producing efforts, as is the short film It Ain’t all Black and White… Unless It Is. All three have earned awards from various festivals around the world. Deadly Revisions earned Gregory the EOTM Award for Best Director of an Indie Horror Film, the Claw Award for Best Screenplay and the Flicker Award for Best Picture and Garden Party Massacre has so far won 12 awards, including Best Feature from the Fantastic Horror Film Festival.

Whether he’s at the keyboard, behind the camera or in the limelight, Gregory‘s goal is to entertain and enlighten people to make the world a little bit better for his having been here. Because if you can’t make the world just a little bit brighter, what the heck are you here for?
