Love The Ghost is a one-man band created in 2015 by Italian songwriter Andrea L. as a vehicle to distribute some of his darkest/moodiest compositions.

At first, there were no expectations for this project and very little effort was put behind promoting it besides a very simple website to showcase the songs, and a Facebook page for his closest friends.

However, in 2017 Andrea found himself with a little extra time on his hands and decided to promote Love The Ghost to a wider audience through Social Media “just to see what would happen”. Much to his surprise, the project did garner some positive attention and within a few months was getting airplay on a few web-radios worldwide and even making the 2017 “Top 20 Independent Bands” list in Canada’s Woody Radio. As a result of all this unexpected interest, Andrea released a 9-track album titled 2017 A.D. that is currently available for download on Bandcamp.

Musically, Love The Ghost is heavily influenced by Post Punk/Darkwave atmospheres mixed with Hard-Rock although the song structures and hooks are clearly derived from Andrea’s love for Pop Rock music. Andrea has written all songs and recorded all instruments/voices on all currently available Love The Ghost’s tracks, but he is currently planning to expand the line-up and is auditioning drummers and bassists to help him add different “dimensions” to the newer yet-unrecorded material.
