Nora and her mother Tina, move to a new town to after Tina‘s divorce. Tina tries to put her life back together, but her autistic daughter is having trouble dealing with her new surroundings and school. Tina’s neighbor, Pamela, has a daughter, Agnes, who is the same age as Nora. Agnes has some social anxiety and forms a tight friendship with Nora, which is something Nora has never had.
