Se7en Questions with Actor

William Tokarsky

Who are some of the artists or some of the works that inspired you to get started in this field? Of today’s current artists, who do you draw inspiration from?

Jack (Nicholson) is my only inspiration

What have thus far been some of the negatives of being an indie artist in your field?

The biggest problem is time away from home auditioning, networking and classes. The time spent on screen is such a small percentage of the work.

What have thus far been the positives of being an indie artist in your field?

The great people that you meet along the way makes the journey worthwhile.

What have been your favorite completed projects to work on up to this point? Can you tell us a little bit about them?

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, while not an indie, is the culmination of the many indies and shorts I have had the pleasure to work on.

What projects are you currently working on or have planned for the near future?

This week I am working on an [adult swim] show called Your Pretty Face is going to Hell. We are in our forth season and it is like being at my home away from home.

Where do you see yourself in a few years and what would it take for you to consider your career a success?

I have succeeded beyond my wildest dreams since I fell into this crazy business. Everything else would just be gravy.

If you couldn’t do this anymore, what career path do you think you would have followed and why?

At my age I do not have long to continue, I am trying to develop some Voice-Over work that could extend this sweet little avocation.
