Summer Camp (2015)

Film Review

By the Geezer of Oz

“Four American counsellors at a European summer camp must deal with the outbreak of a rage-inducing plague that starts in the animals.” (IMDb)

This film is one most horror fans should like. Summer Camp possesses a slightly different take on the zombie sub-genre. While it largely remains within familiar territory, it is a very good effort for some low budget indie horror fun.

Director Alberto Marini does very well in his first feature attempt, keeping the tension fairly palpable once things kick into gear. Jocelin Donahue (The House of the Devil) and a cast of mainly unknowns also equate themselves well in this one.

I think it is quite a bit better than its 5.1 IMDB rating. 7/10 for me.
