We Go On (2017)

Film Review

By the Geezer of Oz

“Miles Grissom offers $30,000 to the first person who can prove to him that we go on after death.” (IMDb)

I accidentally came across this film and, as I had no previous knowledge of it, there were zero expectations.

Turns out it’s more supernatural drama than horror, yet still contains several horror elements. It has the feel of a TV movie but ended up being an interesting film that was probably better than I thought it would be when I went into it.

We Go On is an above average indie flick that is probably worth your time, especially indie horror fans who are not necessarily in it for blood and gore but love tension and suspense. Starring Clark Freeman (YellowBrickRoad) with special appearances by veterans Annette O’toole (Cat People, It 1990) and John Glover (Scrooged, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, Robocop 2, In the Mouth of Madness). Co-directed by Jesse Holland and Andy Mitton (YellowBrickRoad) who did a good job helming this commendable indie offering.

6/10.
