A promising future NBA player’s life takes a major turn after he find his girlfriend dead in a hotel room.
Cedrick is a 16-year-old from the Republic of Congo who earns a scholarship to one of the best high schools in America. After coming to America, he quickly becomes a basketball superstar. So, he decided to enter the 2019 NBA Draft, with the ceremoony being held in Chicago. He and his girlfriend, Haley, decide to make a road trip out of it.
On their way to Chicago, they stop at a random hotel somewhere in Kansas to spend the night. The next morning, he wakes up in a bloody bed next to a dead body.
